About CM3D CAM Systems:
Craig
Madsen comes from an extensive manufacturing background with over thirty-five
years experience. With father
having owned a machine shop and four brothers in the manufacturing business, his
experience spans from Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining, machine
tool repair, part design, factory automation, Distributed Numerical Control (DNC),
personal computer setup and optimization for CAD/CAM processing, Mastercam
software
sales and support.
Craig
Madsen and Larry Phillips founded LC Service in 1985 in Los Altos, California.
They provided machine tool service and repair which later branched into support
of
Mastercam sales. Craig and Larry split the business with Craig moving
into full time software sales.
CM3D was established in 1997 out of Felton,
California. The name was created from the initials C for Craig, M for
Madsen and 3D for .... One might think 3 Dimensional but there
are three Ds in the family. Debbie, Derek, and Dan. The company provides specific services in
Mastercam
product sales and service;
Mastercam
training at customer sites or at
the Felton Training Facility; Service support for manufacturing computer
systems, and support for machining.
It is known that Craig is "bent on Hunting" so
in October 2005, Craig Madsen relocated CM3D CAM Systems to Idaho to
service Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming for Mastercam
sales and service.
Craig is considered one of the experts
within the Mastercam family and is constantly
consulted for advise in Operating Systems optimization and Part Design &
Manufacturing approach.
Debbie Madsen works with Craig in the family business.
Debbie worked for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space for 16 years as project
lead in DNC Factory Floor Operations, post processor technical support,
and IT support. In 1996, she accepted a position with Siemens
Communications as Senior Engineer within the Development Engineering department
servicing IT operations. She brings to the partnership
software and computer technical services.
